About Rocking Chair Studio

Rocking Chair Studio, founded in 2004 by Frank and Melinda Fabian, provides fun, wholesome games, greetings, and puzzles for children that are jam packed with activities. The company has grown from 40 original greeting card designs to over 700 products from greeting cards, to games in tins, to jigsaw puzzles. Rocking Chair Studio dedicates its mission to providing quality, educational games that provide plenty of value.

The first product was Can You Find? hidden object greeting cards for children where the card has a beautifully illustrated nature scene with a variety of objects hidden for the recipient to find.Can You Find? cards received the Dr Toy Product of Excellence award and the Creative Child Magazine Seal of Excellence.

In 2006, Rocking Chair Studio led the way with Scent-A-Message scented note cards. Greeting cards with a scent layer on the front of the card so real you would think you could eat the chocolate or pluck the flower from the garden.

Rocking Chair Studio introduced games in tins for the beginning of 2007 with the Write Tin and Game Tin lines. The Write Tin provides stationery for kids at camp along with a cool light-up pen. The Game Tin was the first of the jam packed activities including a 106-piece jigsaw puzzle, a trivia game, repositionable stickers, an activity booklet, and a pencil. iParenting Media Awards added the Game Tin as one of their Hot Products for 2007.

The summer of 2007 saw the launch of Rocking Chair Studio’s Puzzle Works jigsaw puzzle operation. They added tray puzzles, mailable jigsaw puzzles and KnapZak pocket-sized puzzles.

2008 shows continued growth for Rocking Chair Studio. First up is Silly Games – 6 puzzles in a tin where you can mix the pieces from one puzzle with another to create silly pictures. You can mix a cement truck with a sailboat or a puppy dog with a cat. The On the Go Tin travel games are jam packed with 18 games including car bingo, tic-tac-toe, a Silly Critter game using repositionable stickers, word games and find the license plate game. Rocking Chair Studio repackaged the KnapZak puzzles into a round tin that is easier to handle and plenty of fun.

For the spring of 2008, Rocking Chair Studio released Camp Tins to help children find friends at camp. The tin comes with a fast-paced card game for two or more players sure to make fast friends. The Camp Tin includes a journal to capture memories of camp plus the names and addresses of your new friends.
